1. About Autofacts

Autofacts is a trading name of CitiIT Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15811174, VAT No. 473 5892 49). Autofacts operates as an independent prestige and performance vehicle listing platform, connecting buyers with dealers and private sellers.

Autofacts is not a car dealer, broker, finance provider or auction house. We do not own, buy, sell, or take possession of any vehicle listed on the platform. We are not party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller.

2. Use of the Platform

You may use Autofacts for lawful purposes only. By using this platform you agree that you will not:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information in any enquiry or listing
• Use the platform to harass, impersonate or deceive any other person
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems
• Scrape, copy or reproduce any content from Autofacts without our prior written consent
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than those expressly permitted by Autofacts

We reserve the right to remove any listing or enquiry and to refuse access to the platform at our discretion, without notice.

3. Listings & Accuracy of Information

Vehicle listings on Autofacts are compiled using a combination of dealer-supplied information, publicly available data, and AI-assisted technical enrichment. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information on every listing is complete, current or error-free.

Autofacts accepts no liability for any inaccuracy, omission or error in any listing. Buyers are strongly advised to:

• Independently verify all vehicle details, including mileage, specification and history, before committing to a purchase
• Request and review the V5C logbook and any service history documents
• Arrange an independent inspection by a qualified specialist, particularly for high-value vehicles
• Seek independent legal and financial advice for transactions of significant value

Prices shown on listings are indicative only. Final pricing is a matter solely between buyer and seller. Autofacts takes no responsibility for any agreed or disputed price.

4. Dealer Partner Programme

Dealers who participate in the Autofacts Dealer Partner Programme agree to the following additional terms:

• All vehicle information supplied by the dealer must be accurate, current and not misleading
• Dealers grant Autofacts a non-exclusive licence to display their vehicle listings, images and descriptions on the platform for the duration of the partnership
• Dealers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for responding to buyer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Autofacts reserves the right to edit, reformat or supplement listing content for presentation purposes, including AI-generated technical enrichment and editorial additions
• Dealer partnerships are subject to separate written agreement and may be terminated by either party with reasonable notice
• During any free trial period, no payment obligation exists. Commercial terms for paid partnerships will be agreed separately in writing before any charges apply

5. Intellectual Property

All original content on Autofacts — including platform design, branding, written copy, and AI-generated descriptions — is the intellectual property of CitiIT Limited and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Vehicle images supplied by dealers or sellers remain the property of their respective owners. By supplying images to Autofacts, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant Autofacts a licence to display them on the platform in connection with the relevant listing.

Third party content referenced on listing pages — including links to manufacturer sites, press reviews and Wikipedia — remains the property of those respective sources. Autofacts claims no ownership of third party content.

6. Enquiries & Communications

When you submit an enquiry through Autofacts, you are initiating contact with the relevant seller or dealer. Autofacts may forward your enquiry details to that party on your behalf. We do not guarantee a response time or outcome from any seller or dealer.

Autofacts is not responsible for the conduct of any seller or dealer, or for the outcome of any transaction that follows an enquiry submitted through the platform.

7. External Links

Autofacts listing pages include links to third party websites for reference purposes, including market comparison tools, press reviews and official manufacturer pages. These links are provided as a convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of those sites or their content.

We accept no responsibility for the content, accuracy or availability of any external website linked from this platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CitiIT Limited (trading as Autofacts) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the platform
• Any inaccuracy in a vehicle listing
• Any transaction entered into as a result of using the platform
• Any conduct of a seller, dealer or buyer connected through the platform
• Any temporary unavailability of the platform

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep Autofacts available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control. We accept no liability for any loss arising from platform downtime.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Autofacts following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
